Alicia LeDuc Montgomery

Alicia LeDuc Montgomery represents clients in civil rights, civil litigation, government affairs, and impact litigation in Oregon. She has over 20 years of professional experience in law, government, finance, sustainability, and human rights.

Prior to launching LeDuc Montgomery LLC, Alicia was a litigator at international AmLaw 100 ranked firms K&L Gates LLP and Davis Wright Tremaine LLP where she focused on complex commercial litigation and government affairs. She was a member of the trial team that obtained the largest jury verdict in Oregon history, a $1.1 billion class action verdict on behalf of 160 local government bodies against the State of Oregon regarding management of state forestlands. 

Alicia was also a law clerk and extern to Justice Sheryl Gordon McCloud of the Washington State Supreme Court, a summer associate with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, and an in-house Public Interest Law Fellow with a global humanitarian organization before founding her own law firm. 

Education

Alicia is currently enrolled in the Master of Laws - Executive LL.M. in Litigation Management at Baylor University studying with leading judges, attorneys, and legal thought leaders across the country.  

Alicia graduated magna cum laude from Willamette University College of Law where she was a Presidential Scholar, executive editor of the Willamette Journal of International Law and Dispute Resolution, source and citation editor of the Willamette Law Review, and a research assistant studying personal jurisdiction over multinational corporations. She won the Don Turner Criminal Trial Competition and First Year Appellate Competition as part of Moot Court, and served as the Mock Trial Coordinator for Street Law.  

She published a law review article analyzing litigation strategies for human rights litigation, Strategic Alliances as an Impact Litigation Model: Lessons From the Sepur Zarco Trial in Guatemala, 25 Willamette J. Int'l Law and Disp. Res. 150 (2018). 

Prior to law school, Alicia earned a Master of Public Administration from the Evergreen State College and a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Saint Martin's University. She was certified as a consumer credit counselor and volunteered as a VITA income tax preparer.
